The first day at the office for President Donald Trump was used to launch a bitter attack on the media & news for "inventing" the apparent rift between the US Intelligence agencies as well as blaming them for deliberately understating the size of the crowd in attendance for the swearing-in ceremony!

On the 20th of January, Friday, Donald John Trump was sworn in as the 45th president of the United States of America, and although a huge crowd had gathered in front of the White House to witness the ceremony, it was dwarfed by the 1.8 million strong people who were in attendance for the ceremony held for Barack Obama.

The president then made a visit to the Central Intelligence Agency in order to show his support and just about ignored the fact that he had compared the entire intelligence community to the Nazis in a public statement on the micro-blogging site Twitter! He accused the journalists of being among some of the most dishonest people on earth, and that they had grossly misstated the number of people in attendance of his inauguration ceremony.

Later, Sean Spicer, the press secretary was sent to the briefing room in the west wing where he accused the news media of sowing divisions through the understatements made regarding the size of the crowd, while the new administration was trying to unify the nation. He also went on to warn that the media will be held accountable by the administration for the same. While these allegations are being made against the media, photographs clearly show that the number was in fact far lesser than what the Trump-office claims it to be (1.5 Million).

President Trump, addressing the 300 odd employees gathered said, "I just want to let you know, I am so behind you" and went on to accuse the media, for causing the rift between him and the Intelligence Agencies while he himself had tweeted that the Intelligence agencies should not have allowed the fake news to "leak" and so on. He said that he was in a constant war with the news & media and that they photographed empty fields to create a fake impression that as many people as Obama's ceremony weren't present on Friday.

He also made several remarks about his intelligence, which he referred to as being only 39 years old (he's 70) but most of his speech was devoted at lambasting the media for "creating a rift and spreading false stats"!
