We primarily buy fruits or vegetables according to taste, interest, cost, and convenience. However, fruits and veggies having vibrant colors have the most nutrients. Know the hidden benefits of different colors in your food.



1. Blue/purple


Blue and the purple color are due to the presence of a pigment called Anthocyanins. These are the antioxidants which help in memory and disease risk. Anthocyanin also prevents heart disease by preventing clot formation.

2. Green
